Kyiv and 4 oblasts face energy limits again on May 27 as Ukraine's energy system recovers from Russian attacks
Ukrainians will face 24-hour electricity consumption limits again on May 27, both at home and at work, Ukraine's national energy company, Ukrenergo, announced.
"Consumption limits for residential and industrial users will be in effect across all regions of Ukraine from 6:00 a.m. till midnight on May 27," Ukrenergo reported on Facebook.

If the limits are exceeded, local energy providers may enforce scheduled hourly outages.
The power supply to critical infrastructure facilities essential for public welfare will not be affected.

Kyiv, as well as the Kyiv, Odesa, Donetsk, and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts, will see outage schedules in place from 6:00 a.m. until midnight, confirmed DTEK, another major energy company, adding that this was done under Ukrenergo's directive.

Kyiv will receive about 81% of the energy it requires on May 27, DTEK stated, based on the limits set by Ukrenergo.
