Kurdish Forces Control Village on Turkish Border Despite Ongoing Fighting

Kurdish forces occupied the town of Qurne, located very near the Turkish border north of Afrin in Syria, on January 24.

In this footage, reporters interview Kurdish fighters at different locations. Some stone houses show evidence of damage and looting.

Kurdish fighters are also seen staking out positions on hilltops and firing rifles.
