Kumo Japan holds grand reopening celebration

BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) — Kumo Japan held its ribbon cutting and grand reopening on Tuesday, March 5th.

The restaurant was completely renovated with a new seating area and sushi bar and grill.

They’ve also overhauled their entire menu, going in a more general Asian direction.

“We have gotten them pretty close to authentic because we make everything from scratch. We try our hardest to do everything from scratch. Our guys, they try and bring a little piece from home into what they’re cooking so it’s really nice to have something that feels homemade, you know?” said Karry Wade, manager at Kumo Japan.

The new menu features Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese dishes as well as the Japanese food that the restaurant is known for.

Kumo Japan is located at 108 Galleria Plaza, and they are open Monday through Thursday from 11AM until 9PM, Friday from 11AM until 10PM, Saturday from 12PM until 10PM, and Sunday from 12PM to 8PM.
