KUBOO.COM Partners with International Coalition for the Eradication of Hunger and Abuse (ICEHA)

SCOTTSDALE, AZ / ACCESSWIRE / June 17, 2015 / KUBOO, Inc. (SGTB) (dba Safe Communications, Inc.) announced today that it has partnered with ICEHA (International Coalition for the Eradication of Hunger and Abuse) to promote and market KUBOO.COM, the safe kids virtual world. The Alliance Agreement between the two parties calls for revenue share of KUBOO.COM subscribers generated by ICEHA campaigns.

The Washington DC based ICEHA was founded in 2014 by a partnership of Attorneys, Veterinarians, Advocates and globally-minded volunteers. Their programs are designed to address the root problems of global hunger and abuse.

Kuboo.com is a 3D virtual world for children under 13 years old that uses video games to promote education, life skills, and online safety.

As part of a growing movement towards blended learning and Edutainment, Kuboo's innovative platform allows children to complete quests that teach the importance of healthy eating, cleaning up around themselves and their communities, caring for the environment, and each other. And to ensure the safety of its young users, the platform allows parents or guardians to control and monitor the experience of their children.

"It's critical for children to start thinking about the way other, less fortunate people in the world are living," says Carolyn Ronis, Executive Director of ICEHA. "Especially at this age, when they are starting to form their world view. This platform allows that early connection to be made in a way that is safe and fun for kids. Children will get to interact with a character modeled after a real little boy in one of our camps named Sani."

Kuboo has also partnered the Arizona Humane society to create the Kuboo Rescue Adoption feature which allows kids to adopt a virtual pet while learning empathy and pet-owner responsibility.

The platform is free to play but additional features can be unlocked with a paid membership, and a portion of all proceeds are being donated to Kuboo's nonprofit partners.

"We are delighted to partner with ICEHA," says John P. Venners, CEO of KUBOO. "Their vision and reach is to be commended and we look forward to a successful campaign."
