Kristoff Cohran joins South Georgia Nonprofit Network Board of Directors

May 21—MOULTRIE — The South Georgia Nonprofit Network announced this week the appointment of Kristoff Cohran, Colquitt Regional Medical Center's psychiatry residency program coordinator and founder and CEO of Mission 3E, to its board of directors.

Cohran brings a wealth of experience in networking and nonprofit leadership to the organization, the network said in a press release.

SGNN is a regional organization that brings together nonprofits of all sizes and missions serving communities across southern Georgia. Understanding that nonprofits fail every day, SGNN provides vital resources so they can thrive and transform their communities forever, the press release said. The organization's conferences strengthen nonprofit organizations by providing professional development training, management tools, and networking opportunities that enhance their ability to serve diverse constituencies.

"I am honored to serve with SGNN and the board of directors to lift the nonprofit community in South Georgia," said Cohran. "I look forward to contributing my skills and experience to help SGNN fulfill its critical mission of supporting and empowering nonprofits in our region."

Cohran is the founder of his own nonprofit that empowers individuals and organizations to make life-changing impact through character, leadership, and life skills training. His expertise in mentoring individuals and organizations will be invaluable to SGNN as it continues to grow and expand its impact, the organization said.

SGNN was founded as an outgrowth of leadership training sponsored by the Harley Langdale Jr. Foundation in Valdosta. The organization focuses on issues and services of value to its members, which include charitable, educational, scientific, and other nonprofit groups. By creating a strong, unified voice, SGNN raises the nonprofit sector's visibility and helps organizations bring the highest standard of service possible to the thousands of constituents they serve across South Georgia.
