Krispy Kreme Debuts Doughnuts Inspired by International Desserts

Krispy Kreme takes to international inspiration for the newest additions to its doughnut lineup.

The Crème Brûleé, Tiramisu, and Churro doughnuts, and frozen dulce de leche drink are available through August 28 at participating Krispy Kreme locations in the U.S. and Canada, according to a release.

The Crème Brûleé doughnut is filled with vanilla bean custard, dipped in dark caramel icing, and topped with Crème Brûleé flakes.

The Tiramisu doughnut is filled with Tiramisu Kreme, dipped in dark chocolate Tiramisu icing, and topped with a dark chocolate drizzle, chocolate cake crumbs, and a chocolate coffee bean.

The Churro doughnut is a cake doughnut rolled in a cinnamon and sugar blend.

Lastly, the frozen dulce de leche drink features vanilla and Ghirardelli caramel, and is blended with ice.

“With a presence in 27 countries around the world, Krispy Kreme is truly a global brand, and we take inspiration from the flavors found in those countries,” said Jackie Woodward, chief marketing officer at Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. “We’ve put a creative twist on those classic flavors found abroad and are excited to bring those delicacies to our fans in the U.S.”
