Kris Jenner Is Rooting for David Schwimmer to Win an Emmy for Playing Her Late Husband

The People vs. OJ Simpson is up for number of Emmy awards but Kris Jenner is rooting for David Schwimmer to take home a statue for playing her ex-husband, Robert Kardashian.

"I would love to see David Schwimmer win an award because I think he did such a great job," she told reporters on Saturday at the Brent Shapiro Foundation for Drug and Alcohol Prevention Summer Spectacular in Beverly Hills, California, on Saturday.

"I love that guy!" she continued. "He's a great guy and he's a terrific actor and I have a lot of respect for him. And he did a really amazing job in the role of Robert Kardashian and I hope he wins just because he did a great job! He deserves it."

Schwimmer had previously told PEOPLE that he had spent time with Jenner to prepare for his role.

"Kris was really, really generous with her time," the Friends alum shared. "It was really great to learn about how much a man of faith he was and how loyal and considerate he was. He was a very humble, very private person. Not at all seeking the limelight, that was inadvertent."

While Kris, 60, may be in Schwimmer's corner, she's not going to be able to partake in an Emmy festivities in person because she'll be filming Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the staple of the Kardashian empire.
