Kourtney Kardashian Does Not Want to Talk About Kim

From ELLE

Kourtney Kardashian is the second Kardashian to do a television interview since Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris. But when the anchors of Australia's Today show asked Kourtney about how Kim was doing, Kourtney wasn't prepared to answer. This became painfully obvious when she remained silent and appeared to be getting advice from her publicist live on air.

"Umm…" she began. Another voice could be heard speaking to her.

"I'm sorry, is there someone talking to you?" anchor David Campbell asked.

"Yeah, sorry," Kourtney responded. "They just came in." Then more silence.

The camera cut back to the Australian studio. "I think she's totally blanking me on that question," Campbell said, visibly shocked. "She could just say her sister is fine! I mean I think we just said that you know we're very concerned, and we were on side and we hoped that everyone's fine, which I still do." Watch the awkwardness here:

Kourtney called back after the commercial and, per Australian's Herald Sun, did respond. "We just had a bad connection," she said of her silence. Then she gave a Kim update that echoed Khloé's on the Ellen DeGeneres Show last week:

I mean, you know, she's not doing great. I think we're all really still shaken up and I just-you know, I think she has a big supportive family and I know that, like, all the traumatic things that we've been through, you know, we get through them together as a family and that's what family is all about.

The incident did impact Kourtney, who was one of the first people to see Kim after. "I mean I still feel, I feel like in our family especially, we go through, you know, traumatic things-just like our lives move so quickly so sometimes we don't have a chance to digest them. But I felt like, you know, I've personally been taking time to digest everything and you know, I'm still shaken up."
