Descendants of the Sun’s OST sweeps music charts
Seems like Descendants of the Sun is an all-round hit with its impressive TV ratings and OST sweeping the music charts in Korea. Featuring most of Korea’s top OST singers, it’s no wonder that all the songs have been doing well, pushing some of the popular K-pop tunes down the chart. It’s also reported that JYJ’s Junsu will also be lending his voice to the soundtrack.
‘Uncle’ special to feature top celebrities on The Return of Superman
In the upcoming ‘uncle’ special on The Return of Superman in April, Lee Dong Wook and CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa and Lee Jonghyun will be helping the fathers to look after their children. The production team created this special to give the fathers a break after they took care of other children during Lunar New Year.
Eric Nam to join I Live Alone
Singer Eric Nam will be officially joining I Live Alone to replace Yook Joong Wan, who is getting married soon. It was also reported that Hollywood actress Chloe Moretz will be appearing on the show during his segment. She was in Korea in March for the promotions of the game ‘Sudden Attack’.
Six Flying Dragons air finale with top ratings
The finale of Six Flying Dragons broke records with the highest ratings for the show at 17.3%. The drama has been constantly performing well in its time slot and is highly raved by the viewers. In the ending, it was seen that the show made a continuation to the 2011 drama Deep Rooted Tree.
