PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Todd Unger, KOIN 6’s new 4 p.m. anchor, is thrilled to return to his home state of Oregon where he was born and raised.

An Emmy and regional Murrow award-winning journalist, Todd has spent more than 15 years covering some of the country’s biggest stories, including COVID-19, the Ebola outbreak in Dallas, the mass shooting at Fort Hood/Cavasos in Texas, and the dramatic return of Marine Trevor Reed from Russian custody.

His contributions also helped KXXV take home three regional Murrow awards, a station first.
