KOIN 6 News’ Ken Boddie receives Lifetime Achievement Award

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — KOIN 6 News’ Ken Boddie received an award Saturday for his decades of dedication on and off the air.

Boddie, currently the morning co-anchor and host of Eye On Northwest Politics, received the award during the 39th annual Keep Alive the Dream event at the Highland Christian Center.

The celebration combines music and performances, along with a tribute to Black History Month and Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

It was hosted by the World Arts Foundation, the organization who gave Boddie the community Lifetime Achievement Award.

This year, Boddie is also celebrating 39 years of service at KOIN.
