Koala tries its best to cling onto branch in the midst of intense storms
South Australia has had a pretty tumultuous last 24 hours.
An extreme storm knocked out the power of the entire state on Wednesday, affecting approximately 1.2 million people. While offices and houses had to contend with the lack of electricity, that was the least of this poor little koala's worries.

An Instagram video shows the koala clinging for dear life to the edge of a branch in the Adelaide Hills on Thursday morning, doing its best to navigate the tree as destructive winds do their worst.

Winds could hit up to 140 km/h (86 mph) until Saturday, with up to 100 millimetres (3.9 inches) of rain potentially causing flooding in the area.
Unfortunately the threat of flooding is going to cause more havoc for koalas. It's barely been two weeks since the image of this soaked old fella trying to seek refuge stole our hearts.
Stay safe, little buddies!
