What to know about the Music City Bowl: Tickets, parking, Tennessee Vols football's bowl game opponent

Tennessee Vols football won't have far to go for the first bowl game of the Josh Heupel era.

The Vols will play Purdue in the Music City Bowl in Nashville. It will be Tennessee's first time playing in the in-state bowl since 2016.

Who is playing in the TransPerfect Music City Bowl?

The bowl's matchup will feature Tennessee Vols football vs. the Purdue Boilermakers. The bowl game will be played at 3 p.m. on December 30.

Where is the TransPerfect Music City Bowl?

The game will be played at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

What about tickets to the TransPerfect Music City Bowl?

Tickets can be purchased via the bowl game on Ticketmaster. Tickets start at $35, and lower level seats start at $90. StubHub and other ticket resellers also will have tickets via the resale market. Sections 106-117, 202-222 and 303-321 are on the sideline behind the SEC team, and sections 130-141, 225-245 and 326-344 are along the sideline behind the Big Ten team.

You can also purchase parking through the bowl game on Ticketmaster, though there are alternative parking options throughout the area.

What else should I know?

Nissan Stadium's clear bag policy may be different than your school's policy. Also, there has not been an announced schedule of events for things such as the ever-popular hot chicken eating contest. Stay tuned.
