All-white kitchens have been plastered all over Pinterest - and featured in just about every episode of Fixer Upper - for years now, but lately, designers are starting to mix things up. Some are playing with textures and adding bronze accents; others are working in coffee command centers with barista-worthy chalkboard backdrops or creating vertical bar carts. Flip Or Flop's Christina El Moussa is finding a different source of inspiration, but it's every bit as Pinterest-worthy.

Lately, she's been Instagramming shots of patterned ceramic tiles from The Cement Tile Shop, a Tampa, FL-based store that sells dozens of interlocking, four-tile designs. She recently shared a photo of this gray-and-white kitchen, featuring the shop's 8-inch, Tulum II tiles on the backsplash. "Kitchen inspiration for upcoming #fliporflop project," El Moussa wrote.

Though she and husband/costar Tarek El Moussa have filed for divorce, the two have signed on to keep filming Flip Or Flop together. As they start shooting season 7, El Moussa's been asking fans to share what trends and styles they'd like to see. Many have responded with requests to move beyond white shaker cabinets and subway tile. While it's too soon to see how much the duo will vary their aesthetic, it seems like patterned tiles are very much on their minds.

And Exhibit C, a variety of neutral designs:

The shop's tiles have been featured on the Property Brothers (in this hearth), at Latin American cafe Estereo in Chicago, and at the Dream Hotel in New York. And if you're in the market to update your kitchen El Moussa-style, the shop's been 'gramming a bunch of photos of their work used in the kitchen. Check it out:

If you're not necessarily looking to demo and reno your kitchen right now, you could give it a tiny, El Moussa-approved upgrade by sticking a vase of pink peonies on the counter. The decorator named them one of her summer essentials, along with brass lanterns, succulents, and a blender to make margaritas.
