Kirstie Alley vs. U.S. curling squad is the Olympic argument we never expected
Do not piss off Team USA's men's curling team — something Kirstie Alley is learning the hard way.
The actress tweeted an off-hand thought while watching the Winter Olympics on Monday, calling the sport of curling "boring."

Needless to say, the U.S. men's curling team thought, yeah, it was mean. So, they fired back.
We’re not trying to be mean either but your movies weren’t exactly riveting theater Kirstie. #justsaying #curling #rockit #TeamUSA https://t.co/8q9KtxvCPe

Folks on Twitter waited for Alley's next move, weighing in with their own suggested comebacks.
Your response should have simply been, "Look who's talking..."

Kirstie Alley just became a burned stone here. 😂 https://t.co/XSUlSav7g9

“Look who’s talking” with the “profoundly normal” movies you’ve starred in, “Kirstie”. This game of “sticks and stones” is the “runaway” favorite of the Olympics. Give curling “one more chance”. “Cheers” 🍻

Even Mr. T got involved, flying the flag for curling —in fact, his last nine tweets have championed the sport of curling.
Curling is cool, I Pity The Fool who don’t like Curling! Grrr #curlingiscoolfool

Finally, Alley raised a white flag, prompting a curling session invite from Team USA.
