Kirkwood announces ski season extension

(FOX40.COM) — Another California ski resort has announced an extension to their season as the state experiences back-to-back productive snow years.

Kirkwood Mountain Resort will be extending its season to April 28, adding two full weeks to its regular ski season.

Tahoe ski resort extending operations into spring

These dates are conditional and terrain will change as warmer days continue. Kirkwood is located off State Route 88 at 1501 Kirkwood Meadows Dr., Kirkwood.

In March, Sugar Bowl Resort announced they will also be extending their season to April 28.

Sugar Bowl announced their extension after they received 15 feet of snow.
