Kings F Landry out 3-4 months
Sacramento Kings forward Carl Landry is scheduled to have hip surgery on Tuesday and will be sidelined 3-4 months, the team announced Monday.
An MRI revealed that Landry had a tear his left hip flexor muscle, which he suffered during a recent practice.
The surgery will be performed by Dr. William Meyers in Philadelphia.
Landry, 30, was signed by the Kings as a free agent in the offseason after averaging 10.0 points and 6.0 rebounds for the Golden State Warriors last season.
