Kim Zolciak-Biermann Says Goodbye to NFL Hubby After Buffalo Bills Trade: ‘This Has Been One of the Hardest Days Ever’

Kim Zolciak-Biermann had a tough start to the week.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, 38, took to Instagram Monday to document the difficult day after her NFL player husband Kroy Biermann, 30, who previously played for the Atlanta Falcons, signed with the Buffalo Bills – meaning he had to head to Buffalo, New York, to train with the team, leaving his wife and their children back home in Georgia.

The deal happened to come on the same day as their son Kash’s 4th birthday and his first day starting preschool, as well as 5-year-old son KJ’s first day starting kindergarten.

“This has been one of the hardest days ever for me,” she captioned side-by-sides of her husband hugging their children. “Kash turning 4 and starting Pre-K, KJ starting kindergarten and my best friend, my everything left this morning to play for @buffalobills.”

“Although Kroy is so excited as I am (my parents grew up there, half my family still lives there) never mind the fact the fans are AWESOME, the team is AWESOME and my hubby is ecstatic … It was hard to say good bye!” she admitted. “Im so thankful for @briellebiermann taking Kroy so early this morning, @cheftraceybloom coming to the rescue to be here for me, @nikitpressley texts and ALL of you who have welcomed my husband with open arms! Biermann and her hubby tied the knot in 2011, and in November the star took to Instagram to celebrate their fourth anniversary.

“HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to the love of my life, my best friend, my babies daddy, my strength, my heart and soul, the man that puts up with my madness,” she gushed. “The most incredible man I have ever met in my lifetime I LOVE YOU! In addition to KJ and Kash, Zolciak-Biermann – who now stars on her own Bravo spin-off, Don’t Be Tardy – shares twins Kane and Kaia, 2, with Biermann. The reality star is also mother to daughter Brielle, 19, and Ariana, 14, from a previous marriage.
