Kim Kardashian Wears a Very Un-Kim Look to Celebrate Her Anniversary: What Does It Mean for Year Three?

Ever since she met Kanye West, Kim Kardashian has developed a hyper-specific style M.O. One that largely consists of latex, sheer bodysuits, skin-tight everything and belly button-baring necklines. But as we’ve noted over the past week or so, the reality star appears to be in the midst of turning over a new sartorial leaf, an oversize, streetwear-inspired leaf to be precise. Case in point, even though Kim has been wearing one spectacular gown after the next on her tour of Rome and London, in her off-duty hours she changed into this baggy boiler suit to celebrate her second wedding anniversary.

When the words Kardashian and jumpsuit come to mind, it typically conjures up images of beaded Balmain catsuits or elaborate sheer paneling that hugs the reality mogul’s every curve. But on her way to the airport to fly back to L.A. to celebrate her second anniversary, Kim presented us a very different interpretation on that style in the form of this oversize, olive green Vivienne Westwood cover-all she accessorized with a cinched studded black belt, flattop sunnies and the same lace-up boots she’s been wearing all over Europe. Thankfully, she also left the jumpsuit partially unbuttoned to expose a touch of cleavage, otherwise we may not have even recognized her.

But really, all of this just has us wondering what future fashion evolution could possibly be in store for us for anniversary number three. Will Kim go full-on hypebeast à la Kylie, only clothing herself in XXL-sized Yeezy, Nike and Supreme? Or will she bring this love of oversize apparel to the red carpet with Rihanna‘s circus tent-proportioned 2015 Grammys dress serving as inspiration? Personally, we’re already weirdly a little nostalgic for the days of Kim’s naked dresses. While the spandex-clad Kim we’ve come to know and love is clearly going through some kind of personal style metamorphosis, it seems only time will tell just what precisely she has up her extra-long Vetements sleeve next.

What do you think of Kim’s new look? Would you wear it?
