Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Announce Birth of Third Child

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their third child into the world Monday. The Kardashian-Wests' surrogate gave birth to a "healthy girl weighing 7lbs 6oz," TMZ reported.

The surrogate is reportedly based in San Diego, though it's presently not known if she gave birth there or at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Both of the Kardashian-Wests' other children, North and Saint, were born in L.A.

Shortly after TMZ's story dropped, Kardashian hit up Twitter to confirm.

"Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl," Kardashian said in a post on her website Tuesday. "We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister."
