Kim Kardashian Joins Snapchat, Thereby Legitimizing It

Body positivity activist Kim Kardashian has joined the social web’s premiere nude photo-sharing service, Snapchat. Snapchat is now canon.

Early Wednesday morning, Kardashian shared a screenshot of her first Snapchat on Instagram, encouraging her followers to join her over on Snapchat, a war-torn wasteland where things simply disappear forever but at least they’re not governed by Facebook/Instagram’s draconian nudity policies. Kardashian promised that things are going to get ::peach emoji:: over on Snapchat so shield your eyes, Chloe Grace Moretz.

The post is of herself and her sister Kourtney. Kourt looks like she didn’t know this was gonna be happening today; Kim looks like she very much did. It’s signed “Kim XO.”

Kim, who’s joining the popular app nearly five years after its release, managed to get the username “KimKardashian,” but you probably won’t be so lucky which just goes to show you that life is never fair.
