Kim Kardashian Joins Kanye West at the Hospital
Kim Kardashian immediately rushed to be by her husband Kanye West's side on Monday after she was alerted that he had been admitted to the hospital.
According to Us Weekly, the reality star received the news while en route to New York by private jet to attend her first public event since her terrifying Paris robbery last month. Along with her mother Kris and sisters Khloé and Kourtney, Kim had been flying to New York to attend the Angel Ball, a gala honoring her late father, Robert Kardashian. But once she found out her husband had been hospitalized, she immediately returned to Los Angeles.
"Kim was seen boarding a private jet to New York at around 5am LA time and had planned to make a late entrance to the gala, skipping the red carpet, to honor her father," a source told Page Six. "But when she landed in New York, something was very wrong with Kanye, she turned around and headed straight back to LA to be at his side."
Kanye was admitted into the UCLA Medical Center on Monday after police received a medical welfare call. At the time, the rapper was at his trainer's house and was reportedly "acting erratically." He was later taken to the hospital by ambulance, where he was treated for sleep deprivation and is currently being kept under observation. His admittance to the hospital came just hours after the rapper had announced he would be canceling the remainder of his U.S. tour following a series of controversial rants at his last two shows.
