Kim Kardashian Cuts Her Hair Even Shorter Less Than a Week After Getting a Lob

Snip snip!

Kim Kardashian may have just debuted a sleek lob last week, but the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was already ready for another change. Just a few days after her initial chop, the platinum blonde star showed off an even shorter shoulder-length bob to fans on Snapchat Friday night.

“I cut my hair even shorter today. Do we like it or is it too short?” Kardashian asked her fans.

Kardashian turned to her hairstylist Chris Appleton to give the star her first big cut, who felt it was time to give her a fresh, new look from the beachy blonde waves she’s been wearing lately.

“Kim and I love to change up her hair game,” Appleton said on Kardashian’s app and website. “We have had so much fun with the long wave and felt that it was time to add a new look. We decided to go for the chop. I anted to create a sleek and chic vibe. This was a super angled blunt cut that complemented Kim’s face and jawline from all angles.”

Kardashian surprised fans at New York Fashion Week in September when the wig-loving star revealed the icy platinum hair she stepped out with was, in fact, her actual hair.

“I’ve been talking about going blonde again for a long time, and I’m so happy I did! I know a lot of people initially thought I was wearing a wig, but it’s my real hair,” Kardashian confirmed. “My amazing stylist, Chris Appleton, dyed my hair and got it to the most perfect platinum, silvery-white color.”

Since switching over to the blonde side, the star admitted that maintaining her color isn’t easy.

“I’m not going to lie — being blonde is so high-maintenance! Every few days I use the Olaplex 3 treatment to strengthen my hair,” she told us. She also uses a shampoo and conditioner system designed to keep color-treated hair hydrated and shiny. “[Hairstylists] Jen Atkin and Chris Appleton told me about this amazing [system called Inphenom] from Japan.”
