Kim Kardashian's Bikini Photos Were Photoshopped to Look Worse, She Claims

The Kardashians (and Jenners for the matter) are no strangers to photoshop controversies. In the past, everyone from Kim to Kylie have been accused of doctoring their Instagram pics by fans and media alike. So, it comes as a surprise that Kim is now turning the blame around and accusing the paparazzi of photoshopping her.

Recently, on her vacation in Mexico, Kim was photographed on the beach with her family wearing a bikini. The photos that were published showed her infamous backside with some cellulite: the natural and human skin dimpling that often appears on the upper thighs and butt. Cellulite is totally natural, and as such, there's a social media movement at work encouraging people to embrace cellulite without shame. While Kim recognizes that there's nothing wrong with having cellulite and wearing her bikini with pride, she felt as though someone may have sharpened her swimsuit photos to make her look more dimpled. "I saw these awful photos of myself when I was on a trip in Mexico and people were Photoshopping them and sharpening them," she told the hosts of The View during her appearance this week. She continued, "I definitely was not in my best shape. I hadn't worked out in about 12 weeks, I'd had two surgeries on my uterus. We documented that on the show."
Stepping out in a swimsuit can be a nerve-wracking and emotional experience for people of all shapes and sizes. For Kim, she chose a simple black bikini that highlighted her curves — and in turn, had to deal with people photographing her and allegedly retouching those images without her permission. As Kim has started to become more upfront with photoshopping after a recent controversy on Instagram, we're glad to see her calling people out.
