Kim Go Eun received 'Rising Star Award' at 'NEW YORK ASIAN FILM FESTIVAL 2013'.
On June 29th (local time), 'NEW YORK ASIAN FILM FESTIVAL 2013' was held at Film Society of Lincoln Center, and actress Kim Go Eun received 'Rising Star Award' under 'Star Asia Award'.
So far, So Ji Seop(Rough Cut) and Gong Hyo Jin(Crush and Blush) are the only Koran movie stars who received the same award.
Kim Go Eun said, "I feel a profound gratitude for inviting me to 'NEW YORK ASIAN FILM FESTIVAL 2013', and giving me such a huge honor. I will come back with a much better work."
Kim Go Eun debuted through movie 'Eun Gyo'(directed by Jung Ji Woo) as Eun Gyo, and deeply impressed many movie fans by showing an amazing work with Park Hae Il and Kim Moo Yeol.
'NEW YORK ASIAN FILM FESTIVAL' first started back in 2002, and a great number of Asian films were recognized under different categories.
This year's 'NEW YORK ASIAN FILM FESTIVAL' started on June 28th, and it will be held until July 15th.
On the other hand, Kim Go Eun is currently shooting movie 'Monster' with Lee Min Ki.
