Many of us did dumb stuff while we were young. Such is the folly of youth. But this so-called "gang" is gaining a bunch of attention for posting their dumb stuff online.

They've called themselves the Sky High Idiots, and they've been busy riding on the backs and roofs of trains in Melbourne, Australia, just for the thrills.

The group are mostly masked to hide their identities, sometimes filming riding in nothing but their underwear.

Despite three people having reportedly died doing the same thing in the past four years, the group won't be stopping anytime soon.

"It's completely our decision and if we want to risk our lives doing, that's what we'll do," a unknown member of the group told 9 News

"Parents aren't really too thrilled about it. But that's not going to stop us."

Fines for travelling on part of a vehicle not meant for travel is A$389 (US$293), or A$78 (US$58) for children under 18 years of age.

The group are also being investigated by police, which could soon spell the end of their grime-soundtracked videos.
