Kids compete in Little Rockers marathon Saturday

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Around 1,300 kids took part in the annual Little Rockers Marathon Saturday morning.

The non-competitive event is open to kids in first-sixth grade.

Ready, Set, Race: Little Rock Marathon weekend kicks off with 5K and 10K races

Participants run or walk at least 25.2 miles in the weeks leading up to race weekend and complete the marathon on the official marathon course on race day.

Since 2004, more than 30,000 children have completed their final mile and 64,000 have taken part in the training program.
