He was kidnapped, beaten. The suspects have been found but the man is missing, cops say.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office said it has identified a man who detectives say was beaten, chained and kidnapped from a Broward Shell gas station, but still can’t find him.

On Wednesday, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said Kevin Lee, 43, who is homeless, has not been seen since about noon Tuesday at the Shell gas station at 2701 W. Sunrise Blvd. near Fort Lauderdale.

Late Tuesday night, the department shared a picture of Lee in hopes of identifying him. The department also said detectives had “identified the possible culprits in the case.”

By Wednesday, two men, Kenneth Douglas, 36, and Terrail Jenkins, 38, had been arrested and charged with false imprisonment, BSO said.

According to BSO, two suspects were seen restraining the victim and then forcing him into a car.

One of the suspects was found in the car shortly after the kidnapping, but the victim was not in the car. The other suspect was located a short time later, BSO said.

“Detectives fear the man could be hurt or in need of medical assistance,” BSO said in a news release.

Anyone with information is asked to call BSO Violent Crimes Unit Detective Tiberio Barbosa at 954-321-4200 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477).
