One thing celebrity parents know is how to give their kids unique names. Right, Kim Kardashian?
Kardashian and husband Kanye West welcomed their third child in January via a surrogate. They named their daughter Chicago. Yes, like the city — the place West called home as a kid, to be exact. The unusual moniker fits in just right with the names of Kardashian’s other kids, North and Saint. But the creativity doesn’t stop there.
It’s been a big year for the Kardashian-Jenner family. It keeps growing and growing! In February, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott became parents to a baby girl. In true Kardashian-Jenner tradition, they gave their daughter a one-of-a-kind name — Stormi Webster.
Speaking of true, Khloé Kardashian decided to name her baby girl True! Kardashian, who became a mom in April, recently returned home to Los Angeles after giving birth in Cleveland, where her boyfriend (and True’s father), NBA star Tristan Thompson, plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Amid the cheating scandal surrounding True’s parents, Kardashian has said she is making her daughter her top priority. “Whatever else comes next with Tristan, or really anything, she’ll deal with it as it comes, but she will not let anything affect this amazing time with her little girl,” a source told People.
It was baby No. 2 for John Legend and Chrissy Teigen. Their son, Miles Theodore Stephens, came into the world in May. Their daughter, Luna Simone, is loving her big sister role. Teigen has been sharing lots of mommy moments on social media, of course! For Father’s Day, she gave her “best friend and partner” a sweet shout-out on Instagram: “Thank you for the beautiful life and these beautiful lives you have given me.”
Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson is a third-time daddy. He and longtime partner Lauren Hashian welcomed their second daughter in April. His baby announcement made us melt! Johnson shared a precious photo of his little girl, Tiana Gia, resting on his chest with the caption, “Blessed and proud to bring another strong girl into this world.”
Congratulations to all the new moms and dads!
