Kevin (Probably) Saves the World bosses preview Kevin's trip to Laos

After weeks of helping people in exchange for some rather confusing visions, it’s all about to come together for Kevin. In Kevin (Probably) Saves the World‘s midseason finale, Kevin and Yvette are making the trip to Laos to find out once and for all if her theory about the next generation of righteous souls is correct.

“This is, in some ways, what we’ve been building to since the pilot,” co-showrunner Michele Fazekas says. “Fans will be able to see little things that we established in previous episodes come to fruition in this episode and things that maybe we didn’t understand what they meant, we now understand what they mean. It’s a lot of the visions that Kevin has had and he’s now able to interpret what they mean.”

And remember all of those people Kevin has helped? Well, you can expect to see a few of them again. “The other nice thing that happens in this episode is you see a lot of the people that he was able to help over the course of the previous episodes come back and are able to help him,” Fazekas continues. “I like the meaning behind that: The things you do are not just in a vacuum. There is a bit of karmic reward in that.”

Last but not least, this episode will take viewers to the country of Laos. “We wanted something surprising,” co-showrunner Tara Butters says about their choice of country. “We wanted to make sure people understood that we were saying that one of these 35 righteous could be anywhere in the world.”

Fazekas adds, “We wanted it to feel like something that Kevin would know zero things about.”
