‘Kevin Can Wait’ Exclusive: Leah Remini Joins Kevin for the ‘Sting of Queens’
As any fan of The King of Queens can attest, no one does TV-bicker-banter better than Kevin James and Leah Remini. And even a decade after Queens went off the air, the duo are still in fine fighting form. In the first season finale of Kevin Can Wait, Remini guest stars as Kevin’s old police force rival Vanessa Cellucci, who pulls him out of retirement for one last undercover assignment: Playing her husband. Spoiler alert: It does not go well. In the exclusive clip above, Kevin and Vanessa have a tense showdown while waiting for a “half-naked crime lord” to emerge from the next room. Look for some classic King of Queens-style sniping (“You don’t ‘wow’ me — I ‘wow’ you!”) and whisper-yelling; no wonder producers decided to call the two-part finale “Sting of Queens.”
