It didn't take too long for Kettle Moraine forward Grace Grocholski to find a new home.

After decommitting from West Virginia last Thursday due to head coach Dawn Plitzuweit departing the women's basketball program to take the same job at Minnesota, Grocholski has officially rejoined Plitzuweit.

The two-time Division 1 state champion announced on social media Sunday that she would be committing to Plitzuweit and the Minnesota program, noting that "the third time's the charm," referencing her previous decommitments to Arizona State and West Virginia after coaching changes.

"I'm happy to announce that I will be attending the University of Minnesota to continue my academic and athletic career," Grocholski wrote. "Once again I want to thank my family, my high school and AAU coaches, and my teammates. After a long recruiting journey, Go Gophers."

Grocholski closed her stellar prep career with a second consecutive state title for the Lasers earlier this month, a 47-40 victory over Brookfield East in the Division 1 title game. That capped a 55-4 stretch the last two seasons for the Lasers with two gold balls.

Kettle Moraine won 91 of the 109 games Grocholski played in. She was named Classic 8 Conference player of the year three times and made the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association's Division 1 all-state first team three times. Grocholski also was a finalist this season for Wisconsin's Ms. Basketball award, won by Germantown guard and Connecticut commit Kamorea "KK" Arnold.
