Kensington Palace drops huge hint about name of new royal baby

Could it be? Kensington Palace has been surprisingly quiet about the name of Duchess Kate and Prince William's third child, but royal baby sleuths may have figured the mystery out.

Kensington Palace may have accidentally given away the name by appearing to create a page on its website for 'Prince Albert.' If you try to access this link, you're met with a page that reads 'ACCESS DENIED.' You'll also get the same message if you try to access Prince George and Princess Charlotte's pages.

And when you try to access the pages of other names in the running, such as Arthur and Alfred, you get a 'PAGE NOT FOUND' message.

While Kate and William may just be pulling a fast one on us, we may not have to wait much longer to find out baby No. 3's actual name. According to British publication Express, Kate and William are expected to announce the baby's name on Friday.

It's not uncommon for the British royal family to hold off on baby name announcements. When Princess Diana gave birth to William, she and Prince Charles waited a week before revealing his name. And when Princess Beatrice was born in 1990, fans had to wait two whole weeks before finding out her name.

Kate gave birth to her third child on Monday morning at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital. She went home later that evening, but not before introducing her new bundle of joy to the world on the steps outside of Lindo Wing. For the momentous occasion, she wore a red Jenny Packham dress, which many saw as a tribute to Princess Diana.
