Kendrick Lamar Has Moment of Silence for Nipsey Hussle at Argentina Concert

Kendrick Lamar was thousands of miles away from Los Angeles on Sunday night but he still had Nipsey Hussle on his mind.

The “All the Stars” rapper was performing at Lollapalooza in Buenos Aires, Argentina on when he stopped the show to have a moment of silence for Nipsey.

“Before we got on this stage,” Kendrick told the crowd, “we got wind that our brother, our warrior, our soldier, Nipsey Hussle, passed away.”

Kendrick then asked, “So we want to take this time out to give a moment of silence, can we do that?”

After more than 30 seconds, Kendrick broke the silence, declaring, “We love you, Nipsey!”

Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed on Sunday afternoon outside of his own clothing store in Los Angeles.

Police have not made an arrest in the shooting death of Nipsey, but we are told the shooter is allegedly known in the area as a former acquaintance of the slain rapper.

Hours before Nipsey was killed, he tweeted an eery message, stating, “Having strong enemies is a blessing.”
