Kendall Jenner Returns to the Runway at Versace After a 5-Month Sabbatical
Kendall Jenner hasn't walked a runway since January—but she's back with a major Versace turn.

After five months without a single runway appearance, Kendall Jenner is back in action. At Versace’s Spring 2019 menswear show in Milan today, Jenner strutted down a glass catwalk wearing a super-short minidress in a swirling chain-and-floral print. Jenner was among a handful of female models in the Versace show, including Bella Hadid, Imaan Hammam, Grace Elizabeth, Kris Grikaite, and Stella Maxwell.

So what’s Jenner been up to in the five months since her previous runway appearance on January 14 for Dsquared2? Well, she’s certainly not been slacking. In addition to being Vogue’s April cover star—with that memorable cockatoo—she has attended both the Met Gala and the CFDA Awards and starred in ad campaigns for Calvin Klein Jeans, Tod’s and Missoni. Presumably she’s also spent some of her time off the runway with her sisters, three of whom gave birth to daughters this spring.

Her Versace turn bodes well for a summer of Jenner runway walks. Couture starts in just two weeks, and as a favorite of Karl Lagerfeld, Jenner could well appear on Chanel’s Haute Couture catwalk. We’ll let you know if that happens.
