Taylor Wants to Date a 'Demonic' Boy on 'Preachers' Daughters' [Exclusive Video]

Reality shows have taken us nearly everywhere from shrimping boats to the estates of Beverly Hills socialite "housewives." Now, Lifetime is taking us to church! Or, to be more specific, we're heading into the homes of three pastors trying to navigate the trials and tribulations of their teen daughters in the new reality series "Preachers' Daughters."

In this exclusive clip, Pastor Ken of the City of Refuge Pentecostal Church in Joliet, Illinois, is having a stern convo with his daughter Taylor, 18, who's trying to convince her uncooperative father to let her go on a date. Her dad has good reason to be resistant; Taylor recently got busted for lying, sneaking out the house, and hitting up a hotel party with a bunch of boys.

But she swears she's a changed woman: "I'm not trying to be like that no more. I want to be able to have this conversation with you. I'm getting older, and I don't feel like the whole going-behind-your-back thing. ... I don't wanna do that."

Dad's not having any part of it, especially when he hears the boy's name -- which apparently, at least to Ken, sounds like "demonic." "What a name!" Ken says, adding, "I see this big black demon with these horns and these long fangs."

Well, that's one way to deter Taylor, who later told the cameras that her dad's rules are over the top and that he can't expect her to abide by them forever.

To find out if Ken caves and lets his daughter go on the date, tune in to "Preachers' Daughters" on Tuesday, 3/26  at 10 PM on Lifetime.
