Kellyanne Conway Says Robert Mueller’s Team Wanted Hillary Clinton to Win (Video)

Kellyanne Conway suggested that the team of lawyers investigating Russia potential meddling in the presidential election were Hillary Clinton supporters, during her Friday appearance on “Fox & Friends.”

Special Counsel Robert Mueller is leading a team of six lawyers who are tasked with looking into whether or not the Trump campaign colluded with Russia regarding the alleged meddling. “Fox & Friends” co-host Ainsley Earhardt asked how the president will handle himself because most of them “have given money to the Democratic Party or to President Obama or president Clinton years ago.”

Conway fired back that the attorneys “clearly wanted the other person to win,” referring to the 2016 presidential election. She called the investigation a “witch hunt,” mirroring a phrase the president has used himself.

“It’s all a hoax and now they’re going in all types of different directions… the information you just shared is relevant information for America to have,” Conway said. “People should know what folks pasts, and what their motivations and political motivations are.”

She said members of Mueller’s team made “significant” donations to Democratic figures and it “remains to be seen” if they will be fair when it comes to the investigation.

Conway went on to offer her reasoning as to why the investigation shouldn’t attempt to look at the Trump family’s personal finances.

“What’s the point?” she asked.
