Kellyanne Conway Accuses Anderson Cooper of ‘Sexism’ for Viral Eye Roll (Video)

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway charged CNN’s Anderson Cooper with sexism rolling his eyes during a recent interviewing that quickly went viral.

“I face sexism a lot of times when I show up for interviews like that,” Conway said Thursday morning on “Fox & Friends.

“Can you imagine rolling your eyes… having a male anchor on a network roll eyes at Hillary Clinton, a female representative spokeswoman for President Obama or President Bill Clinton? I think not,” she added.

Cooper interviewed Conway on Tuesday after news broke that President Donald Trump had fired FBI Director James Comey.

Trump cited Comey’s handling of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails as proof that change was needed at the top of the bureau. During Cooper’s interview, he grilled Conway about the administration’s apparent fluctuation on its view of the investigation, with Cooper noting that Trump appeared to approve of Comey’s performance in the job during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Conway clearly did not agree and fired back. “You’re conflating two things that don’t belong together,” she said. “Thanks for the trip down memory lane — I was on your show often last fall saying we were going to win Michigan, and how we were going to do it.”

This led Cooper to roll his eyes at Conway — a moment that generated an almost immediate and and extensive  Twitter response.
