Kelly Ripa’s Dog Hates Ryan Seacrest, Ruins Segment

During a segment on Live with Kelly and Ryan, Kelly Ripa’s dog would not cooperate with Ryan Seacrest. The two were doing a segment on an Internet craze called the “Dog Squat Challenge.” People have uploaded videos of themselves squatting their dogs to their social media.

Kelly Ripa brought her dog Chewie to demonstrate, but her dress prevented her from doing a squat. So Ryan Seacrest tried his hand at the dog squat, and it didn’t go so well. Chewie began squirming immediately after being handed off. Seacrest had to dive to the floor to let Chewie down.

After a few belly rubs, Seacrest was able to calm the canine and demonstrate the squat just in time, before the Internet exercise fad died.
