Kelly Clarkson's romantic date on 'Carpool Karaoke' doesn't go as planned

Kelly Clarkson joined James Corden for some “Carpool Karaoke” on The Late Late Show. Since she’s been gone so much promoting her new album, Meaning of Life, Corden thought it’d be nice for Kelly to have a little date night with her husband, Brandon. Although it didn’t quite goes as planned.

Corden set up the back seat with a nice dinner table and chocolate-covered strawberries. Although Brandon was clearly not very comfortable with being a part of the carpool, which Kelly found hilarious. “He’s so nervous,” she said while laughing uncontrollably. And things got even more uncomfortable when Brandon said, “I feel like we’re making a porn.” Kelly’s husband clarified his statement by saying that it was because of all the cameras in the car, but that didn’t really make it any less funny.

While Brandon was apparently ready to jump to the end of the date, Corden had something a little more romantic in mind so he had them start over, but it wasn’t much better. Brandon tried to make small talk again by informing his wife that he “got a report from the farm today,” which was almost more awkward than the porn comment, and Brandon knew it. “Can we go back to the porn?” he asked. “I’m a little more comfortable talking about that.”
