Keke Palmer is making quite a name for herself as an actor. From Akeelah in Akeelah and the Bee, to Chilli in VH1’s TLC biopic, and now as the intelligent and strong-willed Zayday Williams in Scream Queens.

Palmer is also a singer, though her acting career has taken priority lately.

But in an interview at San Diego’s Comic-Con, Palmer demonstrated both her singing prowess, Spanish-speaking skills, stellar taste in music, and great love for the hugely missed Selena Quintanilla-Perez with an impromptu cover of “Amor Prohibido.”

IT’S SO GOOD

Palmer broke out in Selena’s classic 1994 hit when she was asked which song she performs best at karaoke. (Such a perfect choice). The interviewer didn’t immediately recognize the song from Palmer’s stunning cover, but we’ll let it slide.

Please feel free to release a Selena cover album any time, Keke.
