Keith Urban turns 50: He's come a long way, baby
Keith Urban makes 50 look good.
Unbelievably, the country crooner is celebrating his milestone birthday today — and it has us flashing backing through his years of stardom. Take a look as he morphs from a ragged style with a short and spiky ’do to his current shaggy/sexy/chic visage — a don’t miss the pink lip phase in between. “The Fighter” singer credits any style evolution to his wife, actress Nicole Kidman. “It’s the evolution of a good marriage,” he told InStyle. Aw!
No doubt, he and Kidman, 50, have learned how to rock the red carpet together — and to think it all started with a chance meeting back in 2005. Urban shared a photo of the two taken minutes after they first met, along with an anniversary message for his beloved. Can you believe how much they’ve changed in the last 12 years?

Since then, their love has been on full display on red carpets everywhere, often looking dreamily into one another’s eyes as they strike a pose, or nuzzling in a candid moment between photo calls. From carpets in Cannes to step-and-repeats at the Academy of Country Music Awards to the grand walkway at the Oscars, Urban shows love for his lady wherever he goes.
Kidman has already taken the opportunity to send bday love to her man. “Happy birthday to my husband, best friend, lover, baby daddy and the greatest man in the world,” she wrote on Facebook Thursday, along with a cuddly throwback pic. “We are so lucky that you are ours. Love you from Nicole Mary, Sunday Rose & Faith Margaret xx,” referring to their two daughters.
If pictures of the two over the years are any indication, there’s no doubt this birthday will be his best yet.
