Since the April 8 eclipse is expected to bring tourists into Arkansas, commission and state officials are reminding residents that this is a great opportunity to contribute to the spring cleanup.

“As we gear up to welcome visitors from across the country for the 2024 Eclipse event, KAB’s spring cleanup initiative offers a unique opportunity to present Arkansas at its finest,” Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism Secretary Shea Lewis said. “By participating in the Great American Cleanup, we can ensure that our communities are clean and welcoming to all who come to experience the state and help restore our communities to their best after this special event concludes.”
