KCK police, fire departments report ‘network incident’ Tuesday morning
KANSAS CITY, Kan. — The Kansas City, Kansas Police and Fire Departments reported a “network incident” Tuesday morning that has impacted some non-emergency services, according to a city fire department spokesman.
KCKFD said the team is investigating the cause of the issue, but in the meantime, email services for both KCKPD and KCKFD are down.
Why tornado sirens sounded across Kansas City Tuesday
The “network incident” comes just weeks after the Kansas City Scout cyber attack, a Jackson County ransomware attack and other Kansas City outages.
KCKFD said all emergency public safety services are fully functional and response times have not been impacted.
This is a developing story. FOX4 will provide updates when they are available.
