Songs from Ireland will fill the air and parades will fill the streets as the area celebrates St. Patrick’s Day this weekend.

The featured event, as always, will be Kansas City’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, one of the nation’s largest. Thousands will watch as floats, bands and organizations begin their march through midtown at 11 a.m. March 17 at Broadway and Linwood boulevards. More information at kcirishparade.com.
