Katie Loses Control On 'The Bold And The Beautiful'
Katie has believed she would always have power over Quinn that would guarantee she gets whatever she wants in exchange for staying silent about the affair with Ridge. However, after Quinn delivers news she didn’t expect, Katie will start to lose control over her emotions on the Monday, June 5 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
Katie (Heather Tom) had previously managed to worm her way into a position at Forrester Creations on the CBS Soap, and was designing jewelry alongside Quinn (Rena Sofer) and Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) for the new line the company was putting out. Quinn initially told Katie she didn’t want to use her designs in the new line because she felt they weren’t good enough, and Katie retaliated by threatening to tell Eric (John McCook) about her affair with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). To try and appease her, Ridge ordered Quinn to not only include Katie’s designs in the new line, but told Eric that they were also thinking of giving her a separate collection as well. Now though, Quinn will put her foot down when it comes to Katie controlling her life.

Though Katie had already been told that she would have her pieces included in the new collection, Quinn may decide to tell Eric she feels that Katie isn’t ready just yet to have her designs debuted, and may also hint that she isn’t working well with her at all. While Eric may be hesitant to have his old friend let go, he may find himself agreeing with Quinn after a while, and will tell her to break the news to Katie. When Quinn seems nervous, he will assure both her and Ridge that it won’t be anything to worry about because Katie is a strong woman who can handle being told that she isn’t a good fit for the company.

“I’m sure she’ll be surprised, but Katie’s a rational person. She has to know this isn’t working,” he says to them in a preview clip.
With her husband’s encouragement, Quinn will then go to Katie. Though she’s aware already that Katie is actually a bit on the edge recently, she won’t realize just how much the news is going to send her further into a catastrophic state, as Katie is counting on hearing good news about her designs—not bad news about her status as an employee at Forrester.
Sure enough, after Quinn breaks the news to her, Katie will lash out, viciously going after Quinn and warning her that she’s going to get her payback, while also crying about how Quinn was always an outsider and didn’t deserve the things she has gotten from the Forresters.

“You’re the one who doesn’t belong here!” Katie screams. “You’re the one who doesn’t deserve to set foot in this building! You!”
