We could see a mix of weather this weekend with sun, rain, clouds, perhaps even some snow, in and around Waterloo region.

ScrapFest is on Friday and Saturday at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium for people who love to scrapbook.

Shania Twin, Donna Huber's Shania Twain tribute show, is coming to TheMuseum for an After Dark event on Friday night. Tickets required.

I, the Mountain will be performing Saturday night at TWB Co-operative Brewing in Kitchener.

The Guelph Chamber Choir will perform a concert called The Language of the Stars on Sunday at 4 p.m. in the impressive venue of the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate in downtown Guelph. Tickets are required.

The Guelph Beer Bus is back this weekend. This is a monthly free shuttle bus tour of Guelph breweries held during the warmer months.

The Kitchener Rangers will play Game 2 of their second round playoff series against the London Knights in London Saturday afternoon. They'll be back on home ice for Game 3 on Tuesday.

The K-W Titans will host the Jamestown Jackals on Saturday at 7 p.m. at The Aud.

Celebrate Eid with spoken word performances, Live Oud, calligraphy demonstrations, henna, face painting and honey and food samples.

The activities are free with paid admission to the museum.

Celebrate Holi

Saturday 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Kitchener Public Library, main branch

Celebrate the Indian festival of Colours with storytime, dancing, performances and a craft at the library. The event is free and registration is not required.

There will also be free refreshments including samosas and spring rolls.

Local author book fair and crafters market

Sunday 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Victoria Park Pavillion, Kitchener

Local authors will be on hand and there will be a vast collection of books from every genre. There's also a crafting market that will have a number of unique items (maybe even some bookmarks).

April Showers Bring Gay Flowers Queer Market

Friday 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

44 Gaukel, Kitchener

There will be more than 25 different 2SLGBTQ+ local small businesses as this event, which will also include tarot card readings and a free plant activity. The first 10 people through the door each day could also snag a free gift bag.

Free bird walk

Saturday 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

University of Guelph Arboretum

Wild Birds Unlimited is hosting this intro to birds walk. Binoculars are available to borrow, but bring your own if you have them.

People are asked to register for the event.
