Kate Upton Shades Kim Kardashian and Her Nose on Snapchat
Using one of Kim Kardashian's favorite social media platforms, Kate Upton has officially joined the growing circle of celebrities who have taken a dig at the famous family. On Tuesday, Kate took to Snapchat to share a series of photos and videos from her day, including one of Kate posing with duck lips. She also included the caption, "I look like a kardashian, nose job and all."
It's likely that Kate is referring to all the plastic surgery rumors Kim has been hit with over the years. In July 2015, while pregnant with Saint, Kim wrote on Instagram, "No I don't do fillers or botox when pregnant like some tabloids are reporting, you would have to be really sick to endanger your child like that! Anyone who has been pregnant or gained weight knows your face totally changes! My nose gets bigger, cheeks fuller & my lips swell up." The post has since been deleted.
Kate's Snapchat comments also come some three years after Kanye West explained in length on Power 105's Breakfast Club radio show why Vanity Fair chose the wrong cover girl (Kate) for its November 2013 issue. As you may recall, Kate posed as Marilyn Monroe for the cover.
"I have a love-hate relationship with the paparazzi, but I actually love them because they are empowering us," he said at the time. "They are empowering us over Vanity Fair that want to say that Kate Upton is Marilyn Monroe. Kate Upton ain't Marilyn Monroe. Kim is Marilyn Monroe. She was controversial. She [is] controversial."
Kimye landed the cover of Vogue five months later, and as E! reported at the time, they replaced the magazine's first choice, Kate Upton.
Kim has yet to respond to Kate's Snapchat, but here's Kim giving some TLC to her face the same night Kate threw shade:
