Kate Middleton Sports a Chic Cream Goat Coat for Children’s Center Appearance

The event had been postponed when Kate announced her pregnancy in September.

Back in early September, the Duchess of Cambridge was scheduled to stop by Hornsey Road Children’s Centre, in London, for a run-of-the-mill royal appearance. But the appointment was not to be, as the palace announced that she would be postponing the engagement . . . because Kate was pregnant with her third child (and was suffering from severe morning sickness).

So here we are, about two months later, a different world and time entirely, and Kate is now seeing this one through. She visited the center, which offers support to new and expecting mothers, on Tuesday morning wearing a very sleek cream coat from the designer Goat.

This is the second time in the past week Kate has opted for a Goat clothing item (sorry, we know it’s the name of the label and everything but there is just something amusing about using “Goat” casually in a sentence like this). She paired the coat with a black dress and pair of black boots (and a black clutch!).

Do we think anyone at the center asked Kate for her thoughts on Meghan Markle stepping down from Suits? Probably not, but it’s fun to imagine her having to quickly come up with a way to diplomatically comment on the news.
