Kate's visit comes after the Duchess was reported to have taken Princess Charlotte to see the Royal Ballet perform The Nutcracker ahead of Christmas last year. According to People, Charlotte and Kate got to see a pre-rehearsal performance by the Royal Ballet.

This is Kate's second event this week and her second engagement of the year. Kate did her first 2019 engagement yesterday when she visited King Henry’s Walk Community Garden in Islington. For the casual event, during which Kate worked in the garden, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a J.Crew sweater, Dubarry tweed coat, skinny jeans, and combat boots. The Palace announced then that Kate will help design and build the Royal Horticultural Society's Back to Nature Garden for the Chelsea Flower Show in May.
